This has been a very fruitful and busy time of the month for me and I am grateful! Tinkerwerx am happy to be invited as part of the City Ramble - Process Trail organized by Shophouse & Co., a programme under the Singapore Design Week 2018. On 10-11 March, I roped in 3D revolver as a partner to conduct a 3D printing and jewellery showcase at Funan Showsuite. Visitors got a glimpse of how an idea can turned into an actual physical piece using 3D applications and advanced 3D printing technologies. I am glad that many visitors show genuine interest in finding out about 3D printing technologies and the tinkerwerx pieces that were showcased.
Tinkerwerx was at the MAAD (Market of Artists and Designers) i Light Marina Bay organized by the Red Dot Design Museum from 16-18 March. Sights of the city skyline at night and the amazing colourful light installations were both mesmerizing and captivating. The crowd was soaked in the fun-filled atmosphere from the nearby Carnivals. Being stationed right in front of the Red Dot Design Museum and under the starry night, the event has indeed been a memorable one for me.
I joined 3 other friends in organizing a small charity event on 17 March in support of Care Community Services Singapore. There was a talk on the usefulness of essential oils and my talented friends provided workshops on making flower corsages and bag charms to our guests. We are thankful for the opportunity to do good at the same time to catch up with our guests and friends who came to support.
