Daily Care

  1. Do not spray perfume or put on lotions while wearing your jewellery.

  2. Keep your plated jewellery away from substances like oil, nail polish, chlorine, perfume, alcohol, hairspray.

  3. Remove your plated jewellery before shower, swimming and exercising.

 

Storage

  1. Keep gold plated jewellery in a cool, dry place, away from humidity. Preferably in air-tight container, pouch or box.

  2. Store your plated jewellery where it won’t rub against other hard substances.

  3. Store jewellery made of similar materials together. Separate your gold-plated pieces from silver ones.

 

 

Cleaning

  1. Gently clean your plated jewellery (including rhodium plated silver) after each use with soft cotton / lint-free / microfiber cloth to remove any dust, dirt or sweat.

  2. To clean plated jewellery, use warm water and basic soap (do not use antibacterial soap, as it contains chemicals that can tarnish gold-plating) and gently dry your plated jewellery with soft cotton / lint-free / microfiber cloth.

  3. Do not use a toothbrush or toothpaste to brush plated jewellery.

  4. Do not use silver polishing cloth or jewellery cleaning chemical.

 

For Rhodium Plated Silver

  1. Do not use silver polishing cloth for rhodium plated silver.

  2. Silver polishing cloth is recommended only for sterling silver jewellery but not suitable for rhodium plated silver as it contains chemical that may be too harsh for rhodium plated jewellery.
